Meet OZZY 🦛, a 5-year old, dopey, down-to-earth-house-hippo. Ozzy snorts, grunts & snores like a wild boar but he’s as soft as they come.
Completely unaware of his size, don’t be startled when Oz climbs in your lap like he’s not built like a miniature bull.
Ozzy always has the munchies & if you ask him to ‘sit’, he’ll nearly go crosseyed to get a better look at what prized-snack he will be receiving. You don’t have to worry about losing a finger though; he is super careful to pluck food as gentle as possible.
Nothing really bothers Oz. He likes to mosey on walks & keep physical excretion at a minimum. He’s not interested in seeing how far he can drag a human on a leash & prefers to utilize walks as more of a ‘sniffari’ & exploring what surfaces scratches his back the best.
Ozzy isn’t reactive to other dogs, cats or…anything. Completely un-phased by the environment around him & trots around, ears bouncin’, in his own world.
Ozzy is a favorited dog by many volunteers and his daily handlers because of his low maintenance lifestyle & how versatile he can be in different environments.
A 30-minute walk, a few naps in a cozy bed & a quality bone to gnaw on in between is the definition of a perfect day for Ozzy.
